When the Body Speaks, the Soul Listens

  It was a Tuesday morning when I caught myself holding my breath without realizing it. Sitting in traffic, my hands clenched tight around the steering wheel, my jaw rigid. Nothing terrible was happening, the light was just taking longer than I wanted, but my body was acting like I was in danger.  And in that pause, when I finally exhaled, I noticed how often I lived like this: rushing, tense, unaware of the ways my body kept score of my mind’s noise. That moment stayed with me. It whispered, Maybe the body is not just flesh and bones. It’s also the canvas where the spirit leaves its marks.  The Wholeness We Forget Science tells us the nervous system responds to stress in ways we can’t control: shallow breaths, racing pulse, tense muscles.
